We have been offered the chance through IU to apply for licensing and sell our very own Limited Edition Collector's Tees and Hoodies.

WHAT MAKES OURS DIFFERENT?

​

We plan to use the proceeds for every sale cycle (new limited designs come out every 4 months) to do three amazing things:

​

1. Provide scholarships of up top $5,000 via written or video essay entry to everyone who purchases the shirts. The proceeds fuel the scholarships so you can view your purchase as the Scholarship fee ( except now you get a really cool limited design item instead of just throwing your money into a scholarship you may or may not get, Win or lose, you still walk away happy).

• The best part? You HAVE to buy the shirt to enter the essay contest. Meaning.....it lowers the pool of participants in the contest. Have you ever applied for a scholarship ( even paid the fee and written the essay) just to realize you are competing against hundreds of thousands of other people? And there are only 1-3 scholarships available? Kind of obvious your chances are slim to never, huh? Well, not here. Because not everyone who buys the shirt will enter the contest, a good percentage will only buy it to support the mission or because they collect Limited Edition Merch....therefore lowering YOUR competition. See? It gives you the chance you didn't have before:)​

• Second best part? You can win more than once. That's right. It happens 3 times a year so as long as your essay soars above the rest, you'll snag that scholarship for as many times as you win. 

• Third best part ( my goodness, why are there so many best parts? Maybe because this is crazy amazing opportunity and you shouldn't pass it up..) the number of scholarships are based on sales. 20% of the sales fuel the scholarship with the other 80% fueling our production/shipping/licensing and Small Business Fund ( see #2). So the more shirts sold each cycle, the more scholarships available. As our website name says, we are here to GIVE BACK! Say goodbye to those impossible 1 winner every 10,000 people. ONLY the winners chosen here are the ones who both bought the shirt and who participated in the essays. Your chances just keep going up!

• But what if I can't afford it? Well, the shirts costs $25 and the hoodies will cost $50 to allow for enough proceeds to benefit both the Scholarship and Small Business Fund as well as cover the production and licensing materials for each tee. We cannot lower the prices and still fuel the amazing things we are planning to do BUT we do have a solution for those on fixed budgets. We offer no interest payments through our website. So if you need to split a tee or hoodie up into four easier payments, we gotcha:) And remember, you stand a 1 in 2 chance of winning a gift card  with your purchase! ( see below)

2. We promote and take care of the small businesses surrounding IU. The proceeds from the shirts not only fuel our Scholarship Fund but they grow our Small Business Fund.

• What is that? Its a beautiful little idea that we can help the small business community grow in ways it couldn't before. We take a portion of our proceeds each cycle and distribute it in a blind raffle amongst ALL purchasers ( no essay or anything else needed) and we reward them with gift cards from the local small businesses in Bloomington, IN. This drives in sales to places that otherwise would not have been noticed and keeps the small business economy thriving. ​

• How many gift cards do we give out? Just like the scholarships are contingent on sales, so are the gift cards. For every 50 sales we donate a $25 gift card.  If we sell even as little as 1,000 shirts in a cycle, that's 500 $25 gift cards from around the community. Pretty amazing, right?? You are literally supporting a small business both indirectly by purchasing the shirt and then possibly again directly if you win a gift card.

• Who can win a gift card? Literally anyone who buys a shirt. This give back is not at all related to the scholarship so if you buy a shirt, you're entered! You will be prompted at checkout to like our FB page as we will announce and message the winners there. We have found that is easier to contact people with rather than email and we don't to tie up your already busy phone life with texts or calls:)

3. We create Limited Edition Designs that are licensed through IU giving them instant value and nostalgia. The designs will only be open for two weeks for purchase each cycle and will never be repeated or available for purchase ever again. So if only 1,000 sell, only 1,000 are available for the rest of all time. Making this both a collector's dream and an incredibly invaluable and nostalgic item to pass down to future generations. Can you imagine buying your newborn a Limited Edition IU Tee then seeing them graduate wearing it 25 years later? Its an extremely unique and heartwarming idea! It also becomes a staple item to watch for when building your Licensed IU Merch.

So....when does this start?

​

Well, that's where we need you. You see, IU does not allow just anyone to become licensed, they need to proof that the licensed merch WILL sell. We'd love to give them that proof by mid November, 2021 so that we can begin the licensing process and get this amazing opportunity started by January 2022. BUT WE NEED YOU TO HELP US! If this shirt program interests you in any way, whether as a collector, possible scholarship entry, supporter or simply as a fashion follower who adores staying on top of new designs, what we need you to do it fill out the form below so that we can compile a list for our application.

1. Are you going to sell my info? No. We don't do that. That is for companies looking to make a quick buck with no regards to dignity or morals. We build our business on honesty. Its all safe with us.

2. Are you going to bombard my email? No. The only emails you will get will happen 3 times a year, whenever the new cycles come out and you can opt out whenever you want to.

3. But why do you need all this info? To prove to the Licensing Department that you are a real person. No one is going to reach out to you or even bother you,  they just need to know you aren't a bot or made up individual. 

​

4. Does this tie me into purchasing the shirt each and every time? No, goodness no! We just a show of honest interest. You do not have to purchase a shirt now or even when they come out, we just need to see that you believe in this program enough that a purchase makes sense to you. Just like buying a new car makes sense when you have an older one....even if you choose to continue driving the old one. Does this opportunity seem like an amazing thing to invest in?
